Our Team

Our team is what makes The SHACK make an impact. From the enduring 19-year leadership of former Executive Director/founder David Bottom, to the steady and encouraging presence of current Executive Director Jenn Patrick, to every hour of time given by our volunteer supervisors, our team is committed to the safety and growth of each student in the Bighorn Basin.

Executive Director

Since 2011 Jenn Patrick had been the Program Director. In November of 2023 she became the Executive Director. She was born and raised in Greybull, graduating from Greybull High School in 2004. She attended Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Ministry and Bachelor of Science in Christian Studies. During her time at Crown College, she did a 6-month internship at Denver Rescue Mission, where she learned much about reaching troubled youth. While working in California, she felt a strong call to return to work at The SHACK.

Volunteer Supervisor

Sarah Bidleman grew up in Burlington with her parents Jerry and Wendy Patrick and brother Sean Patrick. She graduated from Burlington in 2013 and enrolled at Northwest Community College. She met her husband, Adam Bidleman, in 2016 and they were married by March 2017. They currently live in Greybull and they have three children, Isaac (7), Asher (5) and Lily (2). Sarah’s hope for her own boys to become men of integrity fuels her desire to help Greybull youth thrive at The SHACK.

Adam Bidleman

Volunteer Supervisor

Adam Bidleman grew up in the area. He met his wife, Sarah Bidleman, in 2016 and they were married by March 2017. They currently live in Greybull and they have three children, Isaac (7), Asher (5) and Lily (2). Since he had witnessed his wife working with the SHACK for many years, he decided to start helping. Adam starting supervising on Saturday nights in December 2023.

Emily BOttom

Volunteer Supervisor

Emily Bottom grew up in Greybull. She graduated from GHS in 2017 and attended Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. She moved back to Greybull in the Spring of 2023 and began working on getting her substitute teacher license. As she worked with the students in the schools, she felt the desire to work with them at The SHACK as well.

kevin ketterman

Volunteer Supervisor

Kevin Ketterman became a Christian in 1974 in his first year in college. He began to grow as a Christian through a group called The Navigators who stress the importance of being the kind of Christian who strives to obey God and help others do the same. By the end of college he knew that God wanted him to invest his life in the lives of teenagers. He started helping at the SHACK in September 2018 as a way to expand the number of teenagers he could connect with and to be part of the impactful ministry of the SHACK.

The SHACK needs more volunteer supervisors to help us be there day in and day out for regular and new visitors, alike. If you can give a high five and word of encouragement, if you can listen to the struggles and challenges our youth are facing, and if you don’t mind a little youthful exuberance, you will be vital to the impact of The SHACK! We train our volunteers how to provide security and how to engage with all kinds of personalities. Shifts available 3:30-5:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 1:00-4:00 Fridays and 7-10 PM Friday and Saturday Night.

Volunteer Supervisors

JP and Audrey Huver are dedicated believers and followers of Jesus Christ. They have five grown children: Lathyn, Katie, Ben, Griff, and Nic. The couple lived in Minneapolis, MN, for 17 years, where they ministered to at-risk youth at the Simpson Memorial Christian Missionary Alliance. In 2001, they moved to Pavillion, WY, to manage a ranch owned by the Riverton Christian Missionary Alliance Church, where they continued to minister to missionaries and youth.
They later worked with youth at the Four Corners Christian Camp in Mancos, CO. There, they managed The Purpose-Driven Project until 2021, focusing on at-risk youth from the Denver area. In 2021, they then moved to Greybull, where they developed an interest in the programs at The Shack.
Audrey expresses, "Our desire to see youth fulfill their purpose in life motivates us to volunteer at The Shack. Presenting Christian family values is our number one goal for youth in the Greybull-Basin area."

Sonia Arteaga

Volunteer Supervisor

Sonia Arteaga is a retired human resources administrator with over 40 years of experience. She managed employee’s benefits, insurance, payroll, and state mandated training in various industries including manufacturing, construction, and property management. Sonia became involved with The SHACK in the summer of 2024.
